Just two weeks before Valentine’s Day, Apple released some dressed up iPods for the wearing pleasure. New colors to the shuffle includes pink, green, blue, and something new to an iPod – orange. Specs are the same, 1GB, 240 songs, and 12 hours of continuous playing all for just $79. I could just imagine some girls buying multiples of these to match their outfits. And I finally found the perfect gift for Valentine’s day. Nice, nice! I hope she’s not reading this right now…

If you are using Safari, you may have noticed this annoying issue: Sometimes when you are browsing half way down a page, clicked a link and went to some other page. Now you want to go back to where you were reading. You hit the “back” button, but Safari does not jump back to the location half way down the page that you were reading. Instead, it takes its sweet time displaying the top of the page while it loads some contents and then jumps down after the whole page is reloaded. This can be very annoying, and I have always want to find a fix.
AppleInsider
If you haven’t already heard the announcement at Macworld, Apple has finally released the touch screen iPod and the iPod phone, in one package: the iPhone. It’s acturally better than what most rumor sites talked about. Instead of a iPod with basic phone functionalities, it’s actually more of a smart phone or PDA like feeling. It’s very different this time for Apple. As apple’s always been trying to keep functions of its devices simple, it feels like they are trying to put everything together in one unit. Rotation sensor, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, touch screen, Mac OS X, Safari, WiFi. I wonder if it will be major bug free when it becomes available in June. While I’m super excited about the device, it was a little disappointed to hear the actual release date and the exclusive availability through Cingular. More images and the specifications after the jump…
