If you haven’t already heard the announcement at Macworld, Apple has finally released the touch screen iPod and the iPod phone, in one package: the iPhone. It’s acturally better than what most rumor sites talked about. Instead of a iPod with basic phone functionalities, it’s actually more of a smart phone or PDA like feeling. It’s very different this time for Apple. As apple’s always been trying to keep functions of its devices simple, it feels like they are trying to put everything together in one unit. Rotation sensor, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, touch screen, Mac OS X, Safari, WiFi. I wonder if it will be major bug free when it becomes available in June. While I’m super excited about the device, it was a little disappointed to hear the actual release date and the exclusive availability through Cingular.
